This act became effective as of Sept 23rd 2016 through a legal notice gazetted on23rd Sept 2016. The Act supercedes Traffic Act of 1975.

13. Conductor failure to refund fare to an incomplete journey-3k
14. Matatu w/out seatbelt-1k per seat
