WINDOWS 11: What you need to know
Tech giant Microsoft is soon unleashing Windows 11 to the public. It has been six years since windows 10 was released.
Microsoft recently announced that they would be releasing windows 11 to the public. Rumours have it that it will be out on the 20th of October 2021. Windows insider members however have access to the operating system.
Microsoft has fans who get exclusive access to new upgrades before they are released to the public, its sounds amazing, doesn’t it? I would however not recommend anyone to sign up for the program since it means that the upgrades are quite unstable and anything can happen. The BETA users are expecting their version of windows in July 2021.
How much will the upgrade cost?
The full upgrade will be totally free. For users with windows 10, they will be able to upgrade to windows 11 for free once it is released. See: Upgrade to the New Windows 11 OS | Microsoft
From an insider’s experience, the OS has a great look, more like the mac.
What is new in Windows 11
With the tool bar right at the middle instead of bottom left, tab corners are rounded and the menu is arranged in a tab. Some of the improvements include; the fact that the OS can launch android applications and features found in Xbox consoles like Auto HDR to help improve gaming experience.
The new experience comes with a catch though, a pc would need the following minimum requirements: Intel 8th Gen Coffee Lake or Zen 2CPUs and up, TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module), 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage.
For tech lovers though, let us be expectant of what the new package has to offer. Share your experience once you try it.
