TI launches Kagua Kiongozi Video contest for University Students

University students have opportunity to earn up to sh50,000 in video competition launched by Transparency International Kenya (TI K).
The video contest for Kenyan University students is dubbed Kagua Kiongozi (Swahili for Vet your Leader). Winners will be awarded cash prizes worth sh50,000.
Participants are requested to submit a two-minute or less video clip on one of the topics below:
- Vetting of leaders
- Election Offences
- Voter Rights and Duties
- Women and Youth Participation in elections
- Other election themes pertaining to accountability

How to enter
Send your video clips including your telephone, email and name of university in MP4 format by 28th May 2017 to
transparency@tikenya.org
According to Transparency International CEO, Mr. Samuel Kimeu, the competition is part of a Voter Education project being implemented in Uasin Gishu and Machakos counties, and at the national level through media advocacy ahead of the August 2017 General Elections.
